Akras Engineering was established in 1982 by two brothers and is currently a second generation family business specialising in welding and fabrication of High Nickel alloys and various specialised materials.
From humble beginnings the Akras Brothers were known as the craftsmen in the industry, with their attention to detail, and commitment to quality they specialise in servicing the chemical, petrochemical, paper and pulp industries.
Working at F Schmitt & Sons in Abbotsford and Richmond, until opening their own workshop at 7 Airlie Ave Dandenong in 1982.
